Guinness World Record Adjudicator Gaz Deaves presenting Certiicate for the Most people dressed as the Hulk to Una Mc Guinness and Tommy McGuire.
It was a weekend of achievements and celebrations in Castleblayney as we smashed our third Guinness World Record with the most people dressed as The Hulk. As the townsfolk of Castleblayney gathered on the Main Street on Friday 13th at 7pm, covered in green paint and big muscles there was a great sense of community sprit and excitement.
The record attempt was witnessed by an official Guinness World Record adjudicator Gaz Deaves who flew in from London on Friday morning who then delighted the Hulks by presenting the certificate for the biggest ever Hulk gathering of 574 people. A fantastic effort was made by young and old a like to dress up as The Hulk.
The Hulk who is a fictional character was first created fifty years ago by Stan Lee and Jack Kirby and is depicted in films as Dr. Bruce Banner a physicist who transforms into the Hulk whenever he gets angry or if his life is in danger.
A big thank you to the 574 people of Castleblayney who joined in the fun.
